Homes for Seniors in Stratford, Wisconsin

Named after the Canadian hometown of the Connor Family, Stratford is located in the southwest portion of Marathon County and is the home to Donald Sykes Villa.

The Villa consists of 20 one-bedroom apartments including a kitchen, living room/dining room combination, and bathroom.  This building also includes a community room with kitchen facilities, a laundry room, has garages available for rent, and a service coordinator available for residents.

A service coordinator is a social service staff person hired or contracted by the development’s owner or management company.  The coordinator is responsible for assuring that elderly residents, especially those who are frail or at risk, and those non-elderly residents with disabilities are linked to the specific supportive services they need to continue living independently.

Highlander Development Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Impact Seven, Inc., opened this building designated for the elderly in 2002. Income eligible residents pay electricity and rent is based on 30% of their adjusted income. Heat, water, sewer, and trash removal are paid for by the owner.
